Summiting Mount Everest: African Woman Mountaineer from the Continent

" No shortcut to the top."

Saray Khumalo is the first African woman on the continent to climb Mount Everest in 2019. Also, the first to ski to the South Pole this year. Having achieved this feat through adversity, she continues to excel with a goal to achieve the Explorers Grand Slam. She is driven not only by reaching targets but wants to encourage the younger generation to strive higher.

Her purpose: "to leave the world better than I found it."

Along with mountaineering, she is a big advocate of education, believing that it is the foundational basis for success. While climbing mountains, she raises funds for education in Africa.

An explorer and mountaineer with vision, purpose, and tenacity.
Inspiring others to reach beyond the skies.
