Root Vegetable Flour

Fufu is not only made from plantains but can also be made from other sources such as cassava, millet, beans, and sorghum.

I decided to try some fufu flour, which is traditionally eaten mainly in the western region of Africa. It can be eaten as part of a meal either with fish, in a stew, vegetables, or in a soup. The consistency is dumpling like and has also been described as being like mashed potato.

Fufu soup
I made a beef soup and added the fufu that I shaped into balls; following the suggested recipe on the box with the addition of other seasonings . Delicious to taste!
