When it comes to medical attention, living in rural parts of Africa often means going without treatment. Lack of transportation and having access  to facilities is a real problem. Through the design of a drone delivery system, Zipline out of California have found a solution.

Distribution centers house the supplies and drones; orders are placed by healthcare professionals and the orders are delivered by drone. An early adopter of this technology is the country of Rwanda which has already implemented this method and soon to follow is Tanzania.  

The method of delivering medical products via a drone is not only faster and more accessible to patients but is significantly changing lives.
