what inspires conservationists in their work

“We stay inspired because there are numerous sources of inspiration, despite the overwhelming challenges.”

The wild spaces and wildlife are part of our planet's coexistence with human inhabitation. A healthy ecosystem is an interconnected relationship between man and the different habitats. The depletion of wildlife because of hunting and poaching, deforestation, degradation of land has all been harmful. This has led passionate conservation advocates to tackle these problems, find solutions that can better sustain and generate a healthier ecosystem.

The book takes a look at 50 conservationists from different backgrounds and specialized disciplines. Their common goal and drive is to raise awareness, take on challenges, understand problems, and develop the best remedies.

There are many who are working in Africa trying to create a more harmonious and beneficial environment. They are trying to save, protect, conserve nature and wildlife alongside the locals.

Whatever our level of understanding, participation, or outlook on conservation is, the resolve and commitment of these impassioned individuals can also leave us inspired.
