Vanilla Flavoring

I use vanilla extract as a flavoring in many baked goods. In this case, I bought and decided to use the vanilla beans from a company called Madecasse. They originally started cocoa production, making excellent chocolate in Madagascar and then evolved into making vanilla. The country is known as one of the best producers of vanilla. The aroma of the vanilla bean is exquisite and the flavor it produces superb.

To enjoy the full flavor of  vanilla; I baked a simple vanilla sponge cake, mixed chopped papaya    (from Mavuno Harvest) into plain yogurt and added an extra drop of vanilla.
